The Cottage sits within reach of some of Highland's most striking coastline. Sinclair and Dunnet Bay are a five-minute drive away, and the ferry terminal for Orkney day trips is close enough to make island-hopping feasible. Castle and Gardens of Mey, John O'Groats, distillery visits and wildlife tours are all nearby, while the immediate area offers walking trails through mature woodland and along rugged cliffs.
This single-bedroom property sleeps two and occupies its own space within the grounds of Barrock House, a converted courtyard with 30 acres of landscaped land surrounding it. The cottage is arranged on one level: a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen with an electric cooker and washing machine, a bedroom with a zip-and-link bed, and a bathroom. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, and there is private parking for one car. One well-behaved pet can stay free. The shared gardens include a sitting-out area with furniture.
A pub, shop and restaurant are 4½ miles away. The property does not permit smoking.
