Shepherds Hut Retreat
Wiltshire
Couples seeking a rural escape will find Shepherds Hut Retreat answers the brief completely. This standalone hut occupies open countryside with long views across to Salisbury Cathedral, and comes with its own hot tub, parking and everything needed for a proper retreat. One bedroom with a double bed, a shower room, and an open-plan living and kitchen area make up the interior—compact but properly formed, with a woodburner for warmth on cooler nights and underfloor heating throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with logs for the burner to get you started.
The kitchen has an electric oven and two-ring hob for cooking. Outside, a sitting area with garden furniture overlooks the views, and there is a firepit and barbecue for those wanting to eat outdoors. The hot tub seats two and faces out towards the landscape. No smoking is permitted. Alderbury village pub lies 350 yards away down the lane; Salisbury itself, with its cathedral, independent shops and restaurants, is within reach for a day out. Parking is on-site for one car.
