Wiltshire's open countryside stretches for miles around Salisbury, with Stonehenge and Avebury within reach and Salisbury Plain dominating the landscape. Spire View is a first-floor coach house on a working farm, offering a private base for two people to explore the area without the usual hotel formality. The single bedroom has a double bed, the bathroom includes a bath with shower, and the open-plan living space combines a comfortable seating area with dining room and modern kitchen. Everything you need for cooking is here—electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge and washer-dryer—so you can eat as simply or ambitiously as you wish.
The real draw is outside. A small terrace overlooks open farmland with a bistro table and chairs, and a private hot tub sits ready for evening use. On clear nights, the valley view across the fields is substantial enough to justify lingering out there. During your stay, you're welcome to walk the farm's unspoilt acreage; depending on the season, you may spot newborn lambs and calves. Wifi and all essentials including bed linen and towels are provided. The location suits anyone wanting to visit Stonehenge, Avebury or the wider chalk downlands, or simply to spend a night or two away from ordinary routines. No smoking is permitted inside.
