What a beautiful place to stay, in fact it is so nice I have booked for next year. The rooms are spotless, super clean, warm and has everything you need and Thomas is an absolute gent. The house is perfectly situated at the top of bowness and it really is not a steep hill as we are both disabled and took our time and it really is okay. The staff are very polite and helpful too. I would highly recommend this lovely place, and no need to worry about getting a breakfast as there are many places just a couple of minutes away down the road that offer breakfast and numerous hostelries offering fabulius meals but I would very much recommend the Royal Oak inn, brantfell road, which is close by. It has been a very peaceful and extremely pleasant place to stay at Latimer house.

Had a really lovely stay at Latimer House. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring Windermere. We especially enjoyed the terrace overlooking the garden—such a nice touch to relax. It was easy to find, communication with staff was smooth throughout, and everything just felt straightforward and welcoming. I’ll definitely be staying again and would highly recommend it to others.

What an amazing guesthouse, beautiful rooms. We had a room with terrace.. just perfect. Spotlessly clean and smells amazing as soon as you walk into the entrance. Safe and secure. Will definitely be booking again.

The room itself is fine but is very very very loud, you facing to a main road and can hear car come and go all the time. The hotel is fully booked and obviously there are nothing they can do, but if you looking for a peaceful place to stay, do not come here. When I try to talk to someone, they said they never have any complaints of the room being too loud which is obviously not ture，because I am not the first one saying the room is too loud as per the google review. Do not recommend at all.
