Stayed here for 5 nights in late may 2026. Absolutely loved it. Me my wife and our 2 children had a lovely time. Jim the owner was the best host we have have ever met on a campsite. The campsite is very peaceful with clean toilets and showers. The showers were very nice. Jim made us feel very welcome. Thank you will definitely be coming again kind regards Jamie and hollie.

Stayed here for the first time after reading the fantastic reviews for the site. Fabulous location, clean tidy facilities. Toilets with plenty of loo roll and hand-wash soap. Powerful hot showers (free no extra charge). Washing up area with eco washing up liquid supplied. Jim was very friendly & attentive. Loved talking football with my hubby (Blues fan). Highly recommend Chalk Meadow, we will definitely be booking again, for a longer stay next time. Thank you Jim, keep up the great work. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Cheeky little get away for my birthday and what a lovely find. The owner could not have been more friendly or helpful, and the facilities were clean and tidy. Personally I like a small quiet site and this was perfect. Currently planning another get away and this place is at the top of my list

We have stayed here before and when the opportunity to have a few days away with my husband and the dog we knew that Jim was the perfect person to call. Booked for two nights and stayed for 3! Lovely and peaceful! A wonderful host, nothing is too much bother and he will always come round for a lovely chat and catch up when you visit. With the added bonus of the Black Dog just a short stroll down the road where you can book in for breakfast and pop in for lunch or dinner with a fab menu! Will definitely be back this summer again!
