What visitors say

Formerly known as Newhampton Arts Centre (NAC) now renamed Wolverhampton Arts Centre (WAC) after coming under the control of the local council. Unfortunately, the local council seem to be the antithesis of Midas, having a track record of ruining everything they touch. I sincerely hope they break that curse, with this venture, as this was, and I hope continues to be, a great venue. Incorporating various, multi use areas, with a marquee, gallery, theatre, workshops, bar and cafe, all at an affordable cost. Unfortunately, there appear to be plans for a major overhaul, and after seeing the fiasco with The Halls, which were closed for a number of years, due to delays in their upgrade, and cost much more than originally quoted, only to reopen with exorbitantly inflated prices. I hope this venue does not suffer the same fate. Sadly, only time will tell.

Lovely venue. Plenty of on site parking and additional parking on surrounding roads. Went to play a gig on Friday night. Great atmosphere. Lots of things going on there.
