What visitors say
This was our first family camping trip. The site itself was lovely, clean everywhere and the pitches were of good size - you didn't feel too close to the neighbours if someone moved in next to you. We were unfortunately close to the exit from the camping field towards the shower and toilet block so there was a fair amount of foot traffic past our tent, however most other campers were families so that did die down around 9pm and didn't pick up again until 7am. So no rowdy 1am groups. The toilets and showers were clean and accessed using a code. One lady said to me "not the best!" But I couldn't see what her issue was? They were fine! The showers were nice and hot and I was never without toilet roll? The cafe on site was lovely. We explored the animals and there was, what we thought, an activity field at the top which looked like our toddlers idea of heaven so went to try it out but were quickly ushered out by a lady who told us it wasn't for public access and it was now private. It looked amazing whatever it was! Such a shame we couldn't use it. The play park areas Infront of the cafe were quite good. Our son is 3.5 so he was too big for the baby one but not quite big enough for the older one poor boy. The onsite shop left little to the imagination with only a few bottles of milk for sale. So don't count on it to be able to "pick up a few bits" during your stay. You'll be better off driving to a local supermarket. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and are glad we were recommended to camp here and would do the same for others. We camped May bank holiday at the start of the heatwave and so on the Saturday we went out to explore Severn Valley Railway which we highly recommend!

Really need to expand the catering offer on event days. Asking people not to picnic which is fine (although proving unenforceable obviously) but there was an endless queue for the cafe, then a 30 minute wait for food. We used the app which was slightly better being in a group with small kids but then icecream wasn't on the app so we had to queue anyway. Can't understand why you'd want to attract loads of visitors with a bouncy castle day, then not have an extra icecream stand or coffee van to cope with demand.

Absolutely love it here! Great for families, space for the children to run, animals to interact with, park area. Their breakfasts are amazing, kids breakfasts are also huge and the sausage is so tasty. Recently ate from the lunch menu for the first time and it was delicious. There’s a reason we visit 2 or 3 times a month. Such a lovey, friendly cafe! And you get a real sense that every time you eat there you’re supporting local, family business

We’ve visited here a few times. Despite being over 20 miles away we have returned because we genuinely love everything about it. A wonderful spot for coffee and cake. The perfect spot for the kids to enjoy the countryside and see the animals. The fairy trail is always a favourite with our littlest. Sometimes it’s squelchy and wet and sometimes is sunny and dry.. either way it adds to the fun.
