About Tinkers Field

Peace, space and proper countryside rhythm define this 16-acre working farm near Worcester, where Gloucester Old Spot pigs, sheep and assorted poultry outnumber the handful of campers allowed on site at any one time. The pitch area sits at the farm's far end by a brook, offering spacious flat grass for tents and motorhomes, with the Malvern Hills visible from the raised composting toilet platform—which sounds eccentric but works beautifully.

Fresh eggs occasionally come courtesy of the resident hens, barbecues and campfires are welcome, and footpaths lead straight from your pitch into gentle Worcestershire farmland. A neighbouring farm park with fishing lakes is five minutes' walk; the Malvern Hills themselves are a quarter-hour's drive for more serious rambling. Facilities run to hot showers, fresh-water standpipes and that view-blessed loo—all low-impact but perfectly adequate. The pub half a mile away does decent food if you tire of outdoor cooking. Worcester city centre hovers 15 minutes down the road, though you'll likely forget it exists.

What visitors say

Colette Sleigh

Had an amazing 4 night stay here. Back to basics in a peaceful small farm. With poultry and sheep say good morning too. We loved getting to know Dave & Smudge the 2 black sheep. Facilities had a lovely shower in a shed with was spacious and hot water. An eco toilet which I was initially unsure of, but once you've used it once then (a poo with a view) is something everyone should experience. Sarah our host was the loveliest lady who made sure we have everything we need. We used the local pub called Maysons arms which offered very yummy food. Lovely nearby walks everywhere. Thank you, we will return Colette & Ruby xx
