About Days Inn Tewkesbury Strensham
Days Inn Tewkesbury Strensham is built into the Roadchef service area on the M5, making it about as convenient a motorway stopover as you'll find between Tewkesbury and Worcester. It's a practical choice rather than a destination in itself, aimed at drivers who want somewhere reliable to break a journey without hunting for a junction exit.
The 48 rooms are spread over two floors, with family and accessible options available, air conditioning throughout, and drinks kept in the room. There's a restaurant and bar on site, plus a snack bar, kids' meals and breakfast, and with the service area's own dining options right next door there's no shortage of food choices at any hour. Facilities extend to a lift, meeting rooms, laundry service, luggage storage, an outdoor seating area and garden with a picnic spot, and an electric vehicle charge point in the free on-site car park.
Pets are welcome, and free WiFi covers the hotel throughout. It won't suit anyone after a scenic setting, but for a straightforward, well-equipped overnight stay just off the M5, it does the job it sets out to do.

What guests say
Arrived just before midnight. Lady on the check in desk was very helpful. Room was very basic and bathroom very tired. No cold water from the hand basin tap. Due to being extremely late we decided not to report it and leave it until the morning. Unfortunately check in desk was closed when we left so we left a note report it. Bed was comfortable and a good night's sleep was had by us both.

Convenient place to stay. Rooms were a bit grubby and run down. We had ants in our room on the spare bed so we didn't use that bed. If they migrated further I would have complained. Single glazing means the traffic noise from the car park and motorway is pretty constant (bring earplugs) making for a tricky sleep. The rooms could do with more noise proofing generally as we appeared to have elephants in the room above (seriously how much walking about do people do in a small room until 1230). Place does need a refresh and more stringent cleaning (quite a few hairs about the bathroom). Two of us stayed so had to ask for an extra towel; towels smelt a bit musky. But staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure whether or not we would stay again.

Only stayed here because our car broke down. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming at 3am, but I would not choose to stay here. The hotel is very run down and when I laid down on the bed I realised the bedside lamp was covered in cobwebs.

Its a budget hotel and I have reviewed it as such. Its clean and functional with a decent bathroom and shower. Plenty of hotwater and good water pressure. Its not the ritz but then you aren't paying ritz prices. It has everything you need for a night or two stay and very pleasant and friendly staff. Parking is in with the cost of your stay, just ensure you put your number plate in at reception. No restaurant in the hotel but plenty of choice at the joining service station.
