Lovely place to visit. Huge grounds with excellent pathways. Lots to explore and look at. A nice play theme going on this summer with lots of fun games for children. House is interesting to look round and one of the guides (in the room with the big bath!) was really interesting and informative. Service in the cafe was very slow for just a couple of cans of drink! Highly recommend a visit here it’s a lovely day out

Spent a wonderful three hours here today. Had the 12pm guided tour from Adrian which was excellent 10/10, just a shame about the two lady volunteers who tried to shout above his beginning talk. There is so much to see here; church, house, lake pavilion, panorama tower. And additionally the RAF museum. I thoroughly recommend

Visited on a scorching hot Tuesday, lovely tree shaded walk up to the Rotunda then down to the main house. House itself was cool and well signposted, stunning views of the Brown landscape from the Adam styled rooms. Covered shuttle back up the hill to spend time in the RAF Defford museum- fascinating history under your nose. Didn’t bother with the restaurant- too hot! Will return when cooler to fill in the blanks.

Plenty of walking routes around the site of varying lengths, a good place to take dogs around. The house is lovely and staff are very knowledgeable. There is shuttle/ buggy down to the house and back for those that need it. Benefits from being able to go into the church and the RAF museum on site. It’s amazing to know the history of the site from multiple eras and uses. We have been a few times with varying weather conditions but enjoyed it every time
