About Coxwood Farm
Fancy a foray to a peaceful site near Wrexham in North Wales? The pitches at Coxwood Farm are set on an acre of secluded farmland, surrounded by mature oak trees and securely fenced in away from the road. Quiet and rural this spot may well be, with spacious pitches and picnic benches tucked away under those sprawling trees, but it also puts guests in pole position for exploring Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and the bright lights of Chester.
Your dogs are welcome to join you here, but please bear in mind that this is a working farm so they must remain on leads at all times when around the pitches – for more of a chance to hare about there are plenty of footpaths directly accessed from the site, and the lane outside is pretty peaceful and safe for a quick doggy stroll. You can dig out local amenities in the villages of Marford and Gresford, both around 20 minutes' walk, with an essentials shop for groceries in Marford and supermarkets in Wrexham or at Broughton Shopping Park.

Nice small site in a handy location. We stayed to break up the journey from South Wales to North Cumbria. Only ourselves and 1 caravan on site and we did actually struggle to get to the toilet/shower on the morning due to the other people using the facilities. The facilities were clean and tidy, but could certainly do with an extra separate toilet at least. I would imagine if 5 vans and a few tents were there it would be chaotic getting a shower or popping to the loo. Would visit again if in the area.

Very quiet site. Only one toilet and shower but they are kept very clean and the site itself is small. The shower is free, hot and powerful. I recommend electric pitch number 4. It benefits from the shade of a large oak tree in the middle of the day.

We have stayed at Coxwood farm cottages a few times now and have had a great experience each time. The Barn is lovely and spacious, the kitchen is brand new. It has a great outside space where we had a lovely BBQ and it’s perfect for us with small children (trampoline, outside play area and an indoor play barn) as well as being dog friendly. The farm has animals to see and lovely local walks. Would definitely recommend

We stayed here 6 years ago, hasn't changed a bit. Very comfortable living space, great comfy beds. Near to lots of attractions. The kids loved the play barn and trampoline. Would recommend. So quiet and peaceful. Thanks so much The Corrs.
