We had a lovely stay at Orchard View Park. It was just us for the night and it was really peaceful. Set amongst apple trees you get a real feeling of staying in Kent's countryside. The site feels secure as you have a coded gate for entry. You need to be self contained for this site as there are no facilities. Dog friendly and there is a good walk that starts across the road from the site that takes you out to views across the area (we watched planes practising a dog fight). A little piece of "getting away from it all"

Great for a night or two, really quiet and serene. No electric hookup, but if it's peace and quiet and walks you want - this is perfect. Great for motorhomes, but we saw people drive in with tents too.

Having no availability, they gave us the option of camping in another of their spaces. First of all, it was quite a few miles from the original camping. The address and directions to get there were confusing. We got lost and called them to confirm the address and they only said that if the email said that address, it was that and that's it. We arrived after hours and there was no one there, you just had to put a code, no indication or sign that put Camping. At the entrance there was a car that said 'Security' covering the entrance and there was a man hiding in some bushes making noise in a very creepy way. We decided to leave, we called the Police to explain the event since it was 11pm and there was no hotel, camping or shelter available. The police called and diverted us to the Camping and just told us to go back and try to enter since they don't have any security car. We ended up sleeping in a park for less than 2 hours all night because of this incident. I do not recommend it.

Exactly what was required pease and quiet. Open field in the middle of an Apple Orchard. Wouldn't know it was here if it wasn't for the sign at the entrance. 5 fresh water points and a waste point. You need your own chemical toilet. No Electric, which makes it perfect for a short quiet weekend break. Very clean and tidy.
