Absolutely perfect stay – the cabins are beautiful, well-insulated, clean, delightfully practical with somehow everything you realistically need but also no clutter; the setting is picturesque, with the grounds outside well-tended and tastefully designed, and the canal feet away. Graham and Allison have done a wonderful job with the place, it was all very impressive. As hosts, they went above and beyond, very generously helping us get to/from the site and ensuring we had everything we needed. The weather was admittedly sublime which helped! But also, within a comfortable walk were some lovely spots, including Hemplow Hills where the bluebell display was utterly astounding. Would come again in a heartbeat – thank you so much, Heygates!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Birthday Stay! Stayed at Heygates Lodging for my birthday and honestly had the best time! The cabin was super cosy and had everything we needed and the hot tub was just perfect for chilling out in the evenings. Allison and Graham were amazing hosts and really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. You can tell they put a lot of care into everything. Even our dog had the time of his life — He settled right in and loved every minute! Would 100% recommend and can’t wait to come back!

What a fabulous place that Graham and Alison have created. My partner and I stayed in the canal side lodge with our 2 dogs. It was a little piece of paradise and the lodge has everything you need, including an outdoor fridge and a super comfortable bed! It's a haven of tranquility and peace with walks from the door and lots of things to see and do nearby. It's wonderful to relax in the tub and watch the world go by. We want to go back in the autumn/winter to use the fire pit and log burner. I can't recommend Heygates enough. Totally lovely 😍
