Having been gifted a voucher for the Phoenix experience and not the best with heights, I am pleased to say that the experience was exciting and fantastic fun. The team were professional and safe practices were obvious. I only tried the zip wire due to limited time and given the opportunity in the future I hope to try the high wire course and kart rides too. The venue is comfortable, modern and functional. The retention of the old mine winding tower is a reminder of another era. Imaginative regeneration of a mining site. The food and drink areas looked good too. An exciting experience that I am happy to recommend to others.

We had an amazing time here today, especially on the Tower Coaster, it was absolutely brilliant! The reception staff were fantastic, friendly, fast, efficient, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. The ride attendants were just as wonderful, making us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our visit. We needed to use the queue assist/acces pass card for our autistic son, and the team handled everything with such kindness, professionalism, and understanding. A special mention has to go to Dylan, who was simply outstanding. He was patient, empathetic, and made sure our son's needs were met while still being professional throughout. Seeing our son give Dylan a high five at the end was such a special moment for us, as he usually keeps to himself. It really meant the world to our family. Dylan is a real credit to Zip World and a fantastic asset to the business. Huge thanks as well to the reception team and the management for creating such a welcoming and inclusive experience. We can't praise everyone enough and will definitely be back! Thanks everyone 🙏

Outstanding company . Staff were so good and customer service was brilliant from the moment we was greeted till we left . All staff were very happy and funny at times which was great. Staff reassured us and double and triple checked all our harnesses. Very good experience. Highly highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the day at zip world with the family. They have 4 parts Climber : this is a multi story climbing frame (think Go Ape) which is suitable for all ages. Coaster : this is a mini rollercoaster. About 1km long so that's about 2 mins ride time Flyer: a three part zip line which is catered for younger audiences or those not looking to do the big one. Phoenix: the big zip line which is split in to two parts. The first part is longer but slower which goes over a reservoir. The second part, which you go to after getting to the bottom of reservoir and have to climb maybe 35/40 steps which really isn't a big deal IMO is the faster of the two and brings you back in to the main area. Overall the "experience" is pretty much a lot of waiting around but that's expected because there are a lot of safety checks that need to be done every time a new participant is hooked up to the line so just need a lot of patience. I think I got lucky that when I attended the crowd was pretty low. What I would say is that the workers are all brilliant. You have to book a time per event but on the day they were flexible when i ended up having a clash of events. They even moved one of the events to the following day for me. Overall my only feedback was the initial part when you enter and get your wristbands took far too long but I wouldn't knock it just would say that the team should think about ways of improving it. Prices are a bit steep but these are really "one of things" so are somewhat justified. My recommendation would be to try to book on a good weather day because the Phoenix ride is just stunning in good weather.
