About Craighaar Hotel

A gym, spa and indoor swimming pool set Craighaar Hotel apart from most Aberdeen accommodation, giving guests plenty to do without leaving the building. The hotel sits in the City of Aberdeen area, close to Dyce, which lies around 1.8 miles away, making it a practical choice for anyone flying in or out or working nearby.

The 53 rooms are decorated in a bold, contemporary style, with drinks available in room and air conditioning throughout. The on-site restaurant focuses on local produce, and there's a bar for a quieter evening drink, plus breakfast served each morning. Practical extras include free WiFi, a lift, luggage storage, porter and concierge services, and valet parking, while business facilities and a wedding venue make the hotel suited to work trips and celebrations alike.

Free on-site parking is provided, and airport transfers can be arranged, useful given the proximity to Dyce. Nearby Hazelhead Park and Pets Corner offer a local outdoor option, and there are pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach for evenings out.

What guests say

The rooms were mediocre, and unfortunately, the location is a bit out of the way. It’s likely better suited for people in transit to or from the airport. On the plus side, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the hotel bar and lounge area were cozy and stylish. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good, while breakfast was decent.

Usually sit in and have afternoon tea but due to my Mums health decline got a take away one today and I must say the sandwiches were lovely and soft as always, scones with jam and even fresh cream in small pots were lovely and lots of delicious cakes. Thanks very much for the small note wishing my Mum a speedy recovery, a very nice gesture. Delicious as always thank you. Janette

Felt very local and Scottish, glad I walked here to have dinner instead of the burgers at the more modern international style conference hotell.

Great food and really nice rooms. The staff were all very friendly and it is super handy for P&J Live events.
