I stay away for work frequently and work long hours, the last thing you want to come back to is a bad hotel, I am lucky enough to stay at the Crowne Plaza while I am away, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the showers are good and hot, and above all the staff are great. The front desk staff also do everything they can to help make your stay comfortable if you need anything or have questions, they are always friendly. It’s tough working away so often but it’s the things like that which make it far easier. Cannot recommend enough.

I really like this hotel and it’s my favourite in the airport area. All the staff throughout are brilliant and the welcome from reception is always fantastic. Some of the rooms on the top floor have amazing views over the airport and combined with the dark cosy decor are lovely spaces. Large beds, relaxing arm chair with footstool, big TV and plenty of storage makes them really comfortable rooms, even for an extended stay. Electric sockets are at both sides of the bed, there’s good lighting options and the air-conditioning works well. The bathroom is spacious enough and just as clean and modern as the main room. The walk-in shower is very large and the toiletries plentiful and decent. There was a good number of towels provided too. The breakfast was decent enough with a nice mix of hot and cold items on the buffet and fruit. The area makes a good restaurant in the evening too, with friendly staff and varied menu, plus the bar is pretty nice too. Overall it’s a nice hotel and suitable for more than just an airport stopover - I’ll be staying many more times.

Well all I can say is don't stay here if you want a friendly service in the bar/restaurant. What a rude member of staff. Thankfully the reception staff were both brilliant. But the members of staff that served in Both the lounge and restaurant was miserable and rude. Talk about poor service. She had a face like thunder when speaking and being spoken too. Was generally rude on her tone of voice and demeanour. If it wasn't so late in the day and after a 7 hour drive I would be checking out and staying anywhere but here. And certainly will not be returning to this hotel. I do not appreciate being made to feel like I'm a burden after an extremely long day which has left me shattered. Oh and on to the club lounge I don't know why they bother. Extremely limited options for both soft and alcohol drinks. And for the food offering why would you only serve batter squid and vegi quiche. Definitely regret my choice to stay here and left me in a very uncomfortable mood.
