About Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Aberdeen Airport

Dyce puts guests within easy reach of Aberdeen Airport, a nearby golf course, and a good spread of pubs and restaurants for evenings when there's no flight to catch. The Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Aberdeen Airport is built for exactly this kind of stopover, whether that's a quick overnight before a flight or a longer stay tied to local events and conferences.

The 147 rooms are clean and comfortably sized, with en-suite bathrooms, family and accessible options, and the small practical touches that make a difference, such as plenty of electric sockets and a decent range of TV channels. Some parts of the hotel show their age, but the beds are comfortable and rooms are kept in good order. On site there's a restaurant, a bar, a gym, meeting rooms for business visitors, and a garden for some outdoor space. Breakfast, room service and laundry service are all available, and free WiFi runs throughout.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and professional, which counts for a lot given how many guests are passing through on tight schedules. Parking is available on site, though it comes at an extra charge. For anyone based in Dyce for airport access, golf, or a conference, this is a straightforward, well-located base rather than a destination in itself.

Our stay was excellent. Easy to get too as we drove from Ayrshire. Staff so friendly & accommodating. Room was spotless. Perfect location as we were going to p&j live for the darts. Was about 20 mins walk so not too far!!!! Breakfast & dinner was great. We did order from lunch menu at 4.30 as we were told lunch was 12-5pm & another couple ordered from dinner menu but got brought forward staff due to busyness of the restaurant. Staff were accommodating to change our lunch order to dinner menu which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!!!

If you need to be close to the airport then you can’t get much better than the easy five minute walk, so it sure is super handy. There’s plenty of affordable parking too. Checking in was easy and the lobby area is smartly decorated and welcoming. There’s a small area where you can buy drinks and snacks, as well as essentials such as toiletries which is a nice touch. My room was on the ground floor overlooking the main road outside, but it remained totally silent throughout the night, with no noise from the adjacent room either. The bed was a good size and comfortable, with electric sockets at each side as well as lighting controls, and the TV was a good size with plenty of channels. The armchair and coffee table also helped keep the bedroom area comfortable. The bathroom was a lot less spacious and a bit cramped. The shower was over the bath and lacking in power and, despite booking for two people, only one towel was provided. The toiletries in the dispenser bottles were okay enough but the room was a lot more dated than the rest of the hotel. The disappointment came with the general service. While the hotel wasn’t overly busy, it was impossible to get a drink in the bar in the evening, and we had to continually ask at reception for service. Even to do that you had to get the attention of the staff who were always out the back, plus requesting things like late check-out couldn’t be dealt with by the evening staff. It all made for a bit of an unwelcoming vibe and that guests were a bit of a pain. I’d consider staying here again, for the location and a decent night’s sleep at least, but for anyone with more bespoke needs might look at one of the other nearby alternatives.
