About Travelodge Aberdeen Airport

A nearby pub and restaurant scene means Travelodge Aberdeen Airport works well for an evening meal without having to travel far, though the hotel itself keeps things simple rather than offering its own dining room. What it does provide is a straightforward, comfortable base close to Dyce and the A96, handy for early departures, business trips, or a stopover before heading into Aberdeen city centre.

The 40 rooms are a strong point, with guests regularly noting their generous size, modern furnishings and the practical addition of USB sockets. Bathrooms are en-suite, though a few visitors have found the shower pressure lacking and occasional odours in rooms, worth bearing in mind. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers 24 hour reception, a lift, accessible rooms and drinks available in room.

Free on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration at reception, and there's an electric vehicle charge point too. Pets are welcome, and the surrounding area offers golf, fishing and watersports for those with time to explore beyond the airport run.

Location is excellent, price was very cheap, staff were very friendly here, great parking and for a travellodge it does the job, however, the mattress was very uncomfortable, duvet sheets didn’t seem to fit the actual duvet and were to large and the toilet flush was extremely weak. Rooms were tired and old looking, I’m not sure why it says new design on the website because it still looks like it’s from 2004, but again this is perfectly acceptable for one or two nights if you’re mostly out all day exploring. Very clean rooms, that was good.

Stayed here back in January and can't really complain. My room smelled of cigarettes and could do with refurbing as the walls are alittle dirty as is the carpet - someone had either treked dog poo (eek hopefully not) or mud in and put it all over the carpet which meant I had to keep my shoes on - not really the fault of the staff - hopefully they feedback to HO that rooms need updated. Other than that the room was fine, bathroom ok size and I didn't really experience the water pressure issue everyone else did 🤷🏽‍♀️. Easy to use heating controls and I really like the fact that the hotel has actual keys instead of key cards. Disappointing they don't offer a hot breakfast but it wasn't the end of the world. Staff, I couldn't fault. Lovely welcome, very helpful and friendly. Usha was delightful 😊

Room rate was great and room was fine. Very clean, good nights sleep. Usha at reception was friendly and helpful in the morning and her friend was the same when we checked in.

Always stay here due to the cheap weekend prices as it’s well out the way. Bit disingenuous titling it Airport, it’s an hour walk to the terminal, twenty minutes to station. Older Travelodge building that you used to have next to Little Chef’s, but all rooms refitted to the brands modern style.
