Caravan park in Braemar with pay-as-you-use electricity, so you only pay for what you consume.
About Braemar Caravan Park
Braemar Caravan Park sits on flat pitches in Aberdeenshire, with showers and a drying room on site. The distinguishing feature is the electricity system: you pay only for what you use rather than a flat daily rate, which visitors report works out considerably cheaper than standard charges at most parks.
The pitches are well-maintained and level, and the facilities – showers, hot water and the drying room – are kept clean. Staff are noted as friendly and helpful. The location puts you within easy walking distance of Braemar village and its local attractions, with the youth hostel just a few minutes' walk away if you need backup accommodation or want to explore the area on foot.

What visitors say
A very lovely and well-maintained campsite. We were given a warm welcome even though we hadn’t booked in advance. The construction noise we’d been warned about turned out not to be a nuisance at all. The toilet and shower facilities were very clean. The nearby golf course is within walking distance. We’d love to come back.

This campsite is really good. It offers cabins, spaces for caravans, tents, and campers. Clean toilets, and a small shop with essentials. It's green and pleasant. A 5-minute walk to the center of Braemar. A good base for exploring the Cairngorms.

Stayed here last month and we’re already heading back again next weekend, which says everything you need to know. Braemar Campsite is a real little gem. The site is immaculate, quiet, and beautifully kept, perfect whether you’re stopping over or staying a few days. What really makes it stand out though are the wardens. They’re genuinely brilliant. Friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Last time we stayed, they gave us a great pub recommendation, and it’s clear they really know the area and care about your stay. It’s rare to find a place where you feel that looked after, and it’s the main reason we’re coming straight back. Highly recommend if you’re heading to Braemar or the Cairngorms.

What a gem find. Everything you need and more. Catering for campers, caravanners and motor homes alike. Fab location a short walk into Braemar and we cycled to Balmoral Castle, and we're not young! Great path back through the woods and forest , where unfortunately my wife took a tumble . The wardens (husband and wife team) went above and beyond to help us. Rescuing my wife and taking care of us. I can't praise them enough, as we were both quite upset. If we're ever in this neck of the woods again we will be back! Facilities are very well kept and clean, and plenty of hot showers. Drying room, boot wash, lovely dog walk on site, the list goes on! . Just 5* all the way. Thank u for taking care of us 💓
