Gardenstown sits on the Aberdeenshire coast where the Moray Firth stretches out and dolphins sometimes appear in the bay. This end-terraced cottage overlooks Gamrie Bay from its patio, watching the working fishing boats come and go. The village itself—Telegraph-listed as one of Scotland's quintessential seaside spots—has stone walls, red sandstone cliffs, and a working harbour within a short walk, plus local shops, galleries and the Heritage Centre dedicated to its fishing history.
The cottage sleeps six across two double bedrooms (one also has bunk beds) and a games room with a sofa bed. Downstairs holds the living room with smart TV, a dining kitchen with electric cooking, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, a games room contains books, board games and a PlayStation 4. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. One small dog stays free. There are two steps in the grounds and the property is accessible by on-road parking.
The location suits families after a coastal break—there are walks and cycle paths to explore along the coast, and the village itself is compact enough to wander on foot. The pub is within a mile. No smoking throughout.
