About Hatterall View Glamping
Sitting between the Wales-England border and the vast expanse of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, Hatterall View Glamping is an adults-only site for couples seeking a restorative escape. The privileged position – up a gentle hill off the A465 – yields spectacular uninterrupted views of the Black Mountains that stretch from your private decking.
The timber-lined pod comes with a double bed, compact kitchen area (small hob, microwave and fridge) and ensuite shower room, plus all the essentials for a proper cuppa. Outside, the real draw is your wood-fired hot tub and barbecue, ideal for evenings of stargazing over the glorious Welsh countryside. It's a peaceful, intimate setup – though with just a handful of pitches, you'll need to book well ahead.
The Skirrid Inn, claiming to be Wales' oldest pub, sits five minutes' drive away, while Abergavenny's lively market, restaurants and shops are ten minutes down the road. Canoeing, climbing and cycling opportunities abound in the surrounding Beacons.

What visitors say
Our 3 days and 2 nights were not enough. The kids did not wanted to leave! It is the perfect spot for families to have a peaceful time spent for relaxation and quality family time together. We went for trail walks around the place every morning and they were amazing. The evenings were spent entirely on barbecue and animal/bird watching.. The kids had space to roam freely and safely while we parent just chilled. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They have maintained the place very well.. We went to skenfrinth river for a dive which is only twenty minutes by drive and the kids loved it.. You have mountains, river stream, farm animals, comfort of home, all in one place.

What a wonderful glamping site. Beautiful pods, well equipped, comfortable and clean. The view and setting is stunning - very private but still very easy to access anything you might need (local attractions, shops, cafe, restaurants) Hosts are super friendly and the kids loved watching the sheep every morning! Would recommend to anyone and we hope to be back many times!

We had a fantastic little break in the pod. The wood fired hot tub was a highlight as well as meeting the lovely hosts and getting to see the newborn lambs! Highly recommend. The pod had everything we needed and was very cosy.

We came for a weekend break and the pod was lovely. It had everything you could need for a lovely weekend. The pod was cozy and well decorated. Tass and Phil were lovely hosts and we got to see some ewes and lambs. The location was lovely and there are lots of different walks and hikes to do nearby.
