About Three Castles Caravan Park

Tucked away near Abergavenny, Three Castles Caravan Park earns its excellent reputation as a peaceful, adults-only retreat in the Monmouthshire countryside. The tranquil atmosphere is a real draw for couples and solo travellers seeking a proper break from everyday bustle, and the no-dogs policy keeps things exceptionally quiet.

It's a solid, well-maintained base for exploring the area's trio of medieval castles—Grosmont, Skenfrith and White—as well as the nearby Brecon Beacons and market town charm of Abergavenny itself. While the adults-only and pet-free rules won't suit everyone, those after a genuinely restful stay tend to find exactly what they're looking for.

Excellent small relaxing adult only site. Owners Tony and Lorraine are lovely and made to feel welcome. Easy access, spotless facilities in a beautiful part of Wales. Electric is on a meter which you pay at the end of your stay. Nearest towns are Monmouth and Abergavenny. You will need to drive to get to the nearest shops. Nice walk to Skenfrith about a mile from the site (castle and river and interesting church). We always feel at home here when we visit.

This campsite is just beautiful, has everything you need for a break away. Metered electric cost next to nothing for a 4 night stay we paid £14 in electric and £33 a night , well worth every penny. The site is clean and well kept , run by two wonderful friendly owners Tony and Lorraine. Definitely worth a visit , the area is stunning and plenty of walks. One of my my favourite places , can't wait to revisit . Thank you !

Not a bad little site. A little bit tight getting onto the pitches but ok. The facilities are good. Couple of shower rooms and a couple of toilets plus a 5th one that can be privately hired. There's only heaters in the shower rooms tho. Nothing in the toilets so could get cold in there. Never met the owners tiĺ the final day. Had to find our name on the whiteboard to determine what pitch we were on. Felt it was a bit lazy on their part. No one came by to check all was OK. Be aware there's a separate charge for the electric. Which is a new thing. As such when we plugged in didn't think to check if the meter had a reset button. Turns out we used £20 worth of electricity for 2 nights stay. This seems very excessive. Was expecting about £4 a night, especially since we were out most of both days. On top of the £33 a night, this made this an expensive stay. And for that reason I wouldn't return.
