Red sky at night living up to its name! I've recently got into astrophotography and being a dark sky reserve I thought I'd try this site. I was amazed. I took a little smart telescope and captured some beautiful shots. if you like scenery this is the perfect place. In the day you've got the beautiful hills to look at, then you have the sunset which is just awe inspiring. And then, my favourite part. The night sky. The first three pictures were taken with the telescope. The milky way and hills were taken on my phone. This is a perfect family run place by a lovely family. Nothing is too much trouble. It's child and dog friendly, there's a good few things for the kids to do and lots to explore. This is our go to place for a weekend of peace without a doubt.

Brilliant spot, the host was excellent and the facilities were clean and fully stocked. Strikes a great mix between a campsite and wild camping. Will definitely visit again!

Beautiful campsite with plenty for the kids to do, the cleanest compost toilets I've ever seen, and fantastic views. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will be back!

My friend Julie and I stayed at the Red Sky at night Campsite for the summer solstice. It was a very peaceful place to stay looking at some amazing views... The pitches for tents were well planned out and spacious. It was a magical place to stay with wonderful views , the cost of the pitch was reasonable and not too expensive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay... of 2 nights. Thank you Red Sky at Night for letting us stay in your magical campsite.
