About Wernddu Farm Golf Club
With the kids out of bounds, adults-only Wernddu Farm Golf Club offers a properly relaxing retreat in the Usk Valley. Owned by three generations of the same family since 1976, this welcoming site sits right beside an 18-hole parkland course with greens in amazing condition, plus a driving range and pitch-and-putt. Non-golfers aren't forgotten – there's a private fishing lake and walking trails galore beneath the Black Mountains.
The facilities are thoughtfully done: separate washrooms for men and women with proper mirrors, shaver points and hairdryer plugs, plus a clubhouse serving delicious food and drinks throughout the day. Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful, and the value's decent for visitors. Views over the valley might just distract you from your scorecard, but that's hardly a hardship.

Very nice course, decent value too at £18 (visitor) for the front 9. Greens in very good nick and very friendly service at reception. Am in the area for the week and will certainly be back for another round. Recommended if you’re holidaying nearby.

My son is in his second year as member here and we made many visits across the summer months. It really is a gem, nestled in the Welsh countryside. Lovely friendly staff and great prices on drinks and food. Even though it isn't golfing weather so much anymore, we still call by for food whenever we get a chance. Highly recommend

I've stayed here in my campervan for Abergavenny Food festival. Lovely little campsite on a golf course with friendly and accommodating staff. Good hardstanding pitch with electric hook up and reasonably priced. The clubhouse was good with facilities and local beers in the bar. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again!
