The Lily Pod
Monmouthshire
A modern pod built for comfort, The Lily Pod sits on farmland two miles from Abergavenny, with countryside views and a private hot tub. Inside, everything unfolds on one floor: an open-plan living and dining area with a smart TV, a bedroom with a double bed, and a shower room. The kitchen has an electric hob, combination microwave and oven, and a fridge for self-catering. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.
Outside, there's a lawned garden with seating, a barbecue and parking for one car. The property is accessed via a footpath. Smoking is not permitted.
Abergavenny itself—a medieval walled town and former Roman fort—is close enough for coffee and meals, and far enough for genuine quietness. The town sits at the foot of several peaks: Sugarloaf and the Blorenge are immediate neighbours, with the famous Tumble cycle climb nearby. Walking and cycling routes radiate outward into the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, including sections of Offa's Dyke Path and the Beacons Way. If you prefer fishing, golf or horse riding, all are available in the area.
