Well....where to begin.... Stayed Saturday 27th Dec 2025. Sarah was so welcoming upon our arrival. Showed us around the two rooms we would be using for our stay. Our bedroom was lovely and warm with everything we needed for our stay. Hairdryer and radio provided. Our living room was just a few steps away from the bedroom. This too was lovely and warm. Big loungy sofa, table and chairs, microwave, an oven, fridge and hot plate. Tea, coffee and milk provided to get us going. Breakfast was amazing. Full english cooked fresh and delivered to us. On top of that a continental breakfast was provided as well, and waiting for us in our other room. The toilets were very clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I would advise to book well in advance as there are just 2 bedrooms which makes this a great place for a peaceful getaway. A short walk and you are in the town of Abergavenny, but you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere. I can highly recommend Cherryberry for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Really lovely host, so friendly & helpful. The lodge was great too, we had two lodges really. One which was a bedroom & the other a chilling & dining area complete with a very friendly robin. Everything was very clean & the bed was comfy too. Very spoilt with the breakfast, a continental & a delicious cooked breakfast too 😋 Very highly recommended x

Wonderful pretty little cabins in a private garden setting with private kitchen shed. The bathroom is a shared space but you have a designated sink and toilet for your own use. Each cabin has its own BBQ area. The breakfast is mammoth and Sarah the owner is amazing, she does everything in her power to make you feel at comfortable and at home. Whole heartedly recommend these magical cabins.

It is quirky and full of charm. E.g. a big lacey butterfly near the entrance & a large pentacle in my sitting-room hut. Sarah & her family were kind & helpful. The breakfasts were large and 'normal'. I wasn't prepared for having to run or walk a fair distance out of doors in the rain to use the loo at night. Nor for the washroom being so cold. It's a learning experience. If I come again, I'll know that the plastic cover of the heater control panel in the kitchen has to be taken off, the lighting is weak in the sleeping hut and stronger in the kitchen-sittingroom, that towels are not kept in the bathroom, and the water tap is not in the kitchen but outside and round a corner. Overall, it was quite an experience 😊⚠️
