Beautiful beach. Lovely for a walk.

I spent about an hour here, and the scale of the place is impressive—it’s a massive crescent of dark sand and shingle that curves away from the harbour. The vibe is a lot more "wild" and atmospheric than the town's main beaches; you’ve got the towering Pen Dinas hill fort looming over you to one side and the mouth of the River Ystwyth to the other. It’s one of the best spots in Ceredigion for rock pooling, and because it’s a bit of a trek from the town centre, you often have huge stretches of it entirely to yourself.
