We stayed in an apartment which was part of the hotel I believe. I didnt actually make the booking and we were moved to a different location for some reason (should have had sea view and ended up in a back street) . Our bedroom was very small and the shower over the bath didnt have any screen or curtain so you couldnt shower without soaking the floor and window sill. Would I return ? No

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a very lovely lady. We were advised that our room was located in a seperate building called the Belgrave, it was not far from the main hotel, just a short walk, but were pleasantly surprised. We were directly opposite the beach. Top floor had spectacular views of the coastline. It was a beautiful summers day and there were lots of people on the beach, foreshore and the old pier,. We were given a studio apartment with kitchen and private bathroom. It appeared recently renovated and roomy, clean and tidy. If ever I come back to this cute seaside town, I’d definitely stay here again.

Great area 2 streets away from the sea front. Rooms were spacious and nice . Staff were very loud whole talking about personal stuff behind the scenes at o e point. Little bit dated bit comfy with a bar . No restaurant in eve at the time we stayed bit breakfast was a buffet. Tasty , hot and plenty of it. Disabled ground floor rooms were perfect for us. Parking is 1st come 1st served and only about 5 spaces. Lady working there covering from swansea was fab . also the rest of the staff were very help full. Hats off to the cleaners they have a lot of walking and carrying . We had pot of tea on arrival as we were early lady behind the reception was super accommodating. We also lent a walking stick as my mother forgot hers. All amenities are in the room kettle tea coffee sugar milk , tv ,lamps hairdryer and towels which were hot out the dryer so soft and smelt amazing. Could do with some more tea and coffee in room but when asked for more happily gave us some. They told us all the nice places to eat which were just a street or 2 away we went for for take away fish & chips which were fab. Would reccomended this place , kids and elderly friendly if u book and downstairs room. It was comfy and clean just dated which was fine no complaints at all. Tammy & linda xx

Caption: DO NOT STAY HERE! Never been more catfished by a hotel advertisement ever. Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May 2026, having payed nearly £700 JUST for 3 nights, we were not expecting the absolute SLUM that we stayed in. When we arrived, we had to park out on the street, which has a 2 hour limit, because the ‘car park’ they advertise is a space big enough to fit about 3, maybe 4 cars if they’re small. Staff just said yeah it’s always full you should be fine on the street just wait until the morning and try again, no such luck so the entire 3 days we had to move the car every 2 hours out on the street and hunt for spaces… We booked a studio with kitchen, got to a room with no kitchen, was not a studio, went and told staff, they said ‘oh we thought that room was nicer so we put you there’ we said no we booked with a kitchen please can you swap us, they did. It says private entrance, this is absolutely a lie, there was no private entrance we entered the same way any other hotel guest would, not sure how they’re getting away with advertising that when it simply isn’t true. The room was pretty dirty, as if it had not been cleaned in quite a while and absolutely tiny, with a bed being put in the kitchen, no doors could open or close inside because it was so cramped. No air con or fans, it was like an absolute sauna. We had people screaming outside of our door EVERY NIGHT. I rang the hotel reception at 11pm on our first night, as it literally smelled like someone was smoking weed in our room, the owner of the hotel proceeded to tell me ‘I can’t control what the guests do’ and then yell at me for waiting until 11pm to call him and literally just yelled on and on ‘what do you want me to do about it I can’t do nothing, open a window’ I hung up and cried and contemplated waking my 2 small kids to just drive home. The outside eating area was 2 tiny tables, covered in rubbish, bird poop piled up on the tables and seats, and almost every morning when we went for breakfast at 7:30am a drunk sitting chimney smoking and drinking a bottle of whiskey. The hotel over all wasn’t very clean, the eating area the floor looked like it hadn’t been hoovered in weeks, it was pretty yuck. The area has a lot of homeless people (nothing against homeless but not a very nice holiday with 2 young kids when you step out your expensive hotel doors and have to step over people in sleeping bags on the pavement) every time we were in the reception area there was a queue of people waiting to complain about something. Overall, the absolute worst stay we have ever had anywhere, would not recommend unless you enjoy paying hundreds to be yelled at by the owner, have a dirty room, not sleep because it smells like you’re sleeping in a drug den, and have a sub par breakfast each morning 🙂
