About Harrys Hotel & Restaurant
North Parade sits within easy reach of Aberystwyth's seafront and the surrounding Ceredigion coastline, and it's here that Harrys Hotel & Restaurant makes its home. The town's mix of promenade, hills and countryside is right on the doorstep, with the Vale of Rheidol Railway among the local points of interest worth seeking out.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and family options are available, with clean, well-kept bedding regularly noted by those who stay. A continental breakfast with a good range of choices is served each morning, and the on-site restaurant and bar cover evening meals and drinks, with room service also on offer. Free WiFi is provided throughout, though it can be patchy at times, and practical extras include 24-hour reception, luggage storage and a garden to sit out in.
Staff are consistently described as friendly and professional, and the hotel is generally considered good value for its central position. Free on-site parking is a further convenience, and the area around offers walking routes, fishing, golf and watersports, along with nearby pubs and restaurants for evenings out.
What guests say
A great place to stay if you're in Aberystwyth within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The gentleman at reception was incredibly helpful and polite. I was pleasantly surprised to see that a fan was provided, which, given the heatwave, was a welcome addition to the room amenities. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. Clean linen, towels and toiletries. I always appreciate it when parking is available, which it was. The pub downstairs was undergoing some light redecoration although I did not try it while I was there. Aberystwyth itself has seen better days but it's still worth a visit.

We were lucky to get into the small car park around the back on both occasions, we were made aware that space was limited and that we may need to use a public one near by. A bit tetris like glad we weren't in the work van, no noise from the bar to the room, a good stay.

I have stayed at this hotel, and I would confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Aberystwyth. If I return myself, or if friends are planning a visit, this would be my first recommendation. A genuine 10/10 experience. Steve, who showed me around the hotel, was outstanding-courteous, professional, and genuinely respectful. When my food delivery arrived downstairs, he kindly brought it up to my room and thoughtfully asked whether I required cutlery or seasoning. This level of service reflects real attention to guest comfort and care. Outstanding location, exceptional staff, and excellent food. Highly recommended. 10/10. Perfect location. But awful room. £180 for a one nights stay in a Family Room. Curtains were brown and holy, door frames hanging off, holes in the walls that had been filled and left, dirty walls, free WiFi although the wifi didn't even work in the room, hole in the ceiling just covered with a piece of wood. We was told we could have an early check in, room wasn't ready for a further 2 hours, we was told we could check our slightly later again this wasn't the case. Rather dissatisfied and wouldn't return.
