If I could give everything zero I would. It was filthy, hairs in bed, white stains on bedding, filthy walls, shelves hanging off, cob weds, dog hair, it smelt and when we raised this issue we were asked to leave, we would have left anyway as I could not allow my child to stay here. I have never ever seen anywhere so dirty. Louise the owner said we could only have our money back if we did not leave a bad review, well this is not a bad review it is an honest one.

I came to stay here ready for a job interview the following afternoon at Aberystwyth University. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, the food was amazing a breakfast, where the service was great and the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend this place.

So when I booked this a few weeks ago I was contacted by Carol to say the room I had booked ( for 1 adult 2 children) so I could visit my daughter in Uni, I was contacted the next day regarding my booking saying they had to move me as the room was no longer available and that I'd have access to a kitchen an so on... so I though things happen at least they let me know. Fast forward to the day I went down, once I arrived I was calling a few times before I got to speak with Carol and she then stated that I had moved again! She did not let me know.... I was taken over to a house across the street when the room consisted if 1 double bed and a sink no toilet nothing else, the communal toilet was filthy. They offered to put an extra bed in there for us. They did this and to my horror when I arrived to spend the night with my children keys were left in the door for anyone to access with our personal belongings inside. Bed lines was disgusting there was a massive period stain on the duvet limpy sweat ridden pillows. I would never recommend it to anyone. The room was cheap however basic cleanliness is essential and the mess around us simply not acceptable. I hope this is read and I am contacted for a refund I was left with no choice but to stay in the grot with 2 kids was the worst night's sleep! We left very early in the morning to go home turned what was supposed to be a nice experience in to an awful dirty one. I hope this review pushes people to be very weary when booking as it appears so many b&bs are not what they appear and you won't end up staying in the one you think or told you are.

Fairly basic, but clean, comfortable, very affordable and everything works well. Breakfast isn't provided but the local 'Spoons is only a 5 minute walk away and there are plenty of nearby cafes too. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided and replenished on request. Nicely situated near the seafront and town centre and Emily the housekeeper is lovely. Fine for a short stay
