We had stayed here on a few occasions and had booked for April this year .Unfortunately on this occasion Ill health prevented us from going.I cancelled with around 6 weeks notice to get a refund,as it says full refund would be given. I had one response a week after my first email but since then I've had no reply at all the booking date has come and gone and still no communication. I don't know about anyone else but trying to live on sick pay is very difficult and £450 would come in very handy .I have given them one more week to pay up then I will be paying them a visit.They get 1 star but only because I can't give nothing.

This is NOT a hotel first off. It’s a student pub with very basic rooms above. No staff to be seen. On a very noisy street to a club and other bars. The owners need to decide if their ‘’hotel’’ guests or the students in the bar downstairs are more important to them. Mortified to have booked this for family and gives the town a bad name.

We came for a bingo night at the pub, it was an absolutely lovely atmosphere with good drinks for great prices and lovely owners too, very welcoming and kind. Thank you for the great night, we will definitely be returning.

Do not book here. Beds are so old and uncomfortable. Couldn't get in hotel as the door was damaged. Booked a different hotel for rest of stay because it was so bad. Staff were unhelpful and rude on the phone.
