About Barton View
Tucked into rolling Hampshire countryside a short drive from Alresford, Barton View is a small, laidback site where you pick your own pitch from spacious grassy terrain with rural views stretching towards Winchester. The owners have built in generous six-metre spacing between pitches, so there's room to spread out, light a firepit and settle in for those stunning sunsets under genuinely dark skies. Dogs are welcome on leads, and kids have plenty of scope to roam – deer often graze in neighbouring fields while buzzards and kites circle overhead.
The setup is refreshingly simple (no electric hook-ups, no hot water) but showers and loos are on hand, and you're close enough to Alresford's cafés and several family-run pubs for meals out. For supplies, try the local farm shop or town grocers. Days out span the Watercress Line steam railway, Winchester's historic centre, South Downs walks and Marwell Zoo – there's plenty to fill a long weekend.

Well presented, beautiful flat field for camping. Alongside the field was a field with the most beautiful friendly horses The facilities consist of 3 horse boxes converted to a high rustic standard into toilets, showers and washing up area. The owner introduced himself and was really friendly and helpful but also left us alone to it and even didmt mind when we slept in and left an hour later than we should have. Highly recommend this place, we are sure to return

Lovely quiet campsite. Facilities (toilets + sink, and shower) are in converted horse boxes which is quite cool! Shower is powered and warm. Nice area for walks. We saw red kites overhead, a sparrowhawk diving around, and at night you could hear owls hooting!
