What visitors say
Peaceful location with friendly hosts who was helpful regarding a short cut to the rising sun pub . We used to live near the area and wanted to revisit where i used to work in Lydney ,Taurus crafts . The field itself is large with a slope we were in a vw van so took our blocks .It felt very spacious around other campers .Almost every pitch had a picnic bench which was great . Showers were lovely and powerful but you need to purchase a token . Toilets clean at all times . Excellent recycling facilities ,suphurb ! Water taps dotted about which is great .We didnt get a good night sleep but that wasnt the site it was our reactive dachsund ,we will deffinately visit again without him . Thank you .

Lovely, quiet site. Large area to pitch where you like. Sloppey one end, pretty flat the other end. Friendly owners. Water taps around top of field. Good facilities, £1 token for powerful, hot shower. No EHU, but for one night stopover, it was perfect.

A decent site, nice field and pitch where you want. Bit sloped, but didn’t bother us. Brought our own perfectly good fire pit, but rules say you have to rent one and their wood if you want a fire. Fire pit rental is expensive as is the wood, so that left a slightly sour taste to be honest. Loos mixed gender which is fine, but only two sinks, felt a bit small for size of site, but all clean and tidy as were washing up facilities. Good walks nearby and pub with great food. Overall 4/5.

Lovely place, really reasonable pricing and the lady was really helpful and was such a delight to have a brief introduction to Gus and Socks (her lovely dogs). We only stayed one night but definitely going to go again. Clean showers/bathroom area, plenty of space and well kept.
