We absolutely loved our stay. It was incredibly peaceful, spotlessly clean, and surrounded by beautiful views, but what truly made it special was how warm and welcoming it felt, more like staying in a lovely home than a typical bed and breakfast. Carey and David are so friendly, generous, funny, and super knowledgable about the area. The breakfasts were delicious, their sweet dog Dayna and the animals on the property added so much charm, and the cozy decor made the whole experience feel unique, relaxing, and truly memorable.

This classy establishment exudes the owners good taste. Designer chickens scurry about the path up to the front door alongside a beautiful cat. When we returned from dinner in Ambleside, the pathway and outdoor sitting area were lit up with little lanterns; such a nice touch. The interior could grace the feature pages of Wallpaper. We stayed in the suite which has amazing views over an idyllic Lakeland scene. The bed is huge and very comfortable and the wet room bathroom is a designer’s dream with underfloor floor heating and beautiful units and fittings. It feels like a place you could be paying two or three times the price! Loved it.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and we had an absolutely amazing experience, the B&B and area were quiet and peaceful, the cooked breakfasts were amazing and made to order and the rooms were cozy and clean. The hosts Dave & Carrie were truly fantastic, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, were kind and professional and also had LOADS of great recommendations for walks, restaurants, cafes, etc. We had a lovely time staying with you, thanks again for everything ❤️

The location is picturesque and peaceful. The house is lovely. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is an excellent start to the day. The owners are very friendly and always happy to have a chat. Highly recommended!
