A lovely suprise when we went in our room to find some ginger bread from the bakery for us which was delicious :) Absolutely loved staying here! The bed was super comfortable and the room was immaculately clean! I only knock off a star as I'd have loved the room to have a mini fridge and the electric car charger to be working. Its in a great spot with multiple pubs and places to eat right next to you and we couldnt here any noise from the pubs even when the football was on. It was a very hot weekend and the rooms had a fan in which was great! We will defo be back again! Thank you 😊

Quite simply an outstanding place to stay in the heart of Ambleside, but more importantly, is their level of customer care. Such professionalism and friendliness. All needs met, along with a delicious full breakfast, free parking and wonderful bakery with vegan options. Wish we could have stayed longer.

False advertisement, Rude and hostile Front desk including the General manager Richard, lack of problem solving skills due to miscommunication from their side! Compassion and flexibility are non existent at this establishment - This is a False advertised child friendly vacation destination that has ruined a good Friday weekend for my 9 year old kid who was so good in school getting his grades up to deserve this anticipated adventure that turned into a disappointment.

Great place to stay. The view from our room was probably the most iconic in town, the old house built over the river. Rates are for room only with 10% discounts in the cafe next door and Apple Pie Shop. Will definitely be going back.
