Birch Tree Cottage

Birch Tree Cottage is a detached barn conversion in Edzell, sleeping four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything needed for a self-catering break comes as standard: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels, wifi, and logs for the wood burner. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so cooking here is straightforward rather than improvised.

The ground floor is open-plan, with a wood-burning stove in the living area and patio doors opening onto a decked courtyard enclosed by original stone walls. One bedroom has a double bed and ensuite shower; the other has two zip-and-link beds that can be pushed together. A second shower room serves the rest of the cottage. Upstairs, a gallery space overlooks the main living area. On-site parking for one car and a secure bike store are provided.

Edzell itself has shops, restaurants and a park within walking distance. Edzell Golf Club is nearby for those who play. The village sits within reach of woodland walks around Tarfside and Glenesk, and the beaches at Montrose and St Cyrus are fourteen miles away. No smoking inside the property.
