Panbride Getaways - The Groom’s Bothy

The Groom's Bothy is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage built into a restored stable block at Panbride House near Carnoustie. Step through the entrance and you're into an open-plan living space on the ground floor: a sitting area with woodburner and smart TV, a kitchen fitted with dishwasher, induction hob and full appliances, and a dining area opening onto a patio. One dog stays free, and the enclosed grounds give them space to move without risk.

The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and an ensuite with jacuzzi bath and shower. The second bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize (or two singles on request) and its own shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; the initial fuel for the woodburner is too. There's parking for two cars on site and an electric vehicle charging point.

Beyond the cottage, the six-acre estate (shared with other properties) includes a hot tub, tennis court, gym, football goals and basketball hoop. The setting suits families and anyone after some countryside peace—Carnoustie's golf links and beach are close by. No smoking inside.
