Ardtun Cottages - The Stables

Walk straight into the kitchen/dining room at The Stables, a converted cottage on the Ross of Mull near Bunessan. It's equipped for four people to cook and eat together comfortably, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and everything else needed for self-catering. Through to the living room, where an electric fire and seating face views across Loch na Làthaich towards the water. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a twin—and a bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The cottage is part of Ardtun Cottages, set in the small crofting community of Ardtun. You have private parking and access to a sitting-out area in the grounds. A short walk downhill takes you to the shore, where you can watch seabirds, otters, seals and red deer depending on the light and the season. Wifi and heating are included, and the essentials—bed linen and towels—are provided. No smoking inside.

This suits couples and small families looking for time away on the island without fuss. The nearest services are in Bunessan, a short drive away.
