Baileyfield

Argyll and Bute

Holy Loch stretches out in front of Baileyfield, with hills beyond and boats passing throughout the day. The detached house sits at the water's edge in a landscaped setting, within reach of Dunoon's shops and restaurants—a 400-yard walk brings you to a pub. The woodland and lochs of the Cowal Peninsula open up from here, and you're on the edge of Loch Lomond National Park, where walkers and cyclists find steep peaks, waterfalls and forest slopes to explore.

Inside are three bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across two floors. The ground floor is open-plan: a sitting area with a woodburner and floor-to-ceiling windows onto the garden, a dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, induction hob, dishwasher and American fridge freezer. One bedroom is en-suite with its own balcony. Upstairs there's a further bedroom and a shared bathroom. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included. No smoking inside.

The area draws people for sailing, sea fishing, windsurfing and RIB tours on the water, or for the red deer, buzzards and golden eagles spotted inland. Benmore Botanic Gardens is nearby. Baileyfield sleeps six and welcomes one pet.
