About Montague Villa
Dunoon sits on the Firth of Clyde in Argyll and Bute, a coastal town within reach of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and well suited to walking, cycling and watersports. Montague Villa occupies a spot on Shore Road here, giving many rooms a sea view over the water and putting the town's amenities within easy walking distance.
Rooms are en-suite and include family options, with drinks available in room and packed lunches on request for days out. Breakfast is served each morning, and there's a garden, picnic area and outdoor seating for relaxing when the weather allows. Reception operates around the clock, and free on-site parking is provided for those arriving by car.
Beyond the villa, guests can find golf, fishing and horse riding nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment in the local area. Gourock lies a short distance away, making it a reasonable option for exploring further along the Clyde coast. It's a straightforward base for a coastal stay, with the sea view from the room being one of its clearest draws.

What guests say
What lovely hosts. Great location, with a nice walk to the harbour. Had great views from our room (Harris Room). Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, tea making facilities, mini fridge with bottle of water, milk, biscuits & sweets. Also ample toiletries. Massive filling breakfast with plenty of choices, & tasty homemade jams. Really enjoyable stay, loved it. Remember to take home some of Alisons homemade jams, as we did, & the money helps local charity. Cannot fault anything & wouldn't hesitate to book again on our next trip to Scotland.

So happy I stayed here. Drew and Alison made me very welcome. The bed was super comfortable & I've now ordered same mattress for my own bed🤣. My room was very cozy and the view was just brilliant. Quiet and peaceful location. THE BREAKFAST IS AMAZING never tasted mushrooms as tasty in my life. Alison even shared her secret recipe for the great taste and now I'm having mushrooms all week. Having stayed at a lot of places in this area and hotels I will always come back here. I felt like I was being looked after by my mum.and dad it was brilliant. Very clean and smells good. This B and B definitely exceeds expectations. Great hosts would do anything to help you. Thanks so much 🍄🍄🍄🍄

Excellent family run B&B. Drew and Alison couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was superb, the location is breath taking. My only criticism would be the en suite bathroom- the shower was very difficult to get the right temperature, the sink taps needed tightening and the extractor fan didn't work, making it very steamy after 2 people had showered.
