Strachur sits on the eastern shore of Loch Fyne, where Argyll's landscape opens between the water and the hills beyond. Chapelton Cottage is a recently renovated terrace property in the village itself, positioned to take in those loch views across the dining area and from the bedroom windows. It's a straightforward base for exploring the region's lochs, glens and coastal paths on the west coast of Scotland.
The cottage holds four people across two bedrooms—a double upstairs and two singles in the second room—with one bathroom on the ground floor containing a bath and shower. Downstairs you have a living room with a smart TV and electric fire, an open kitchen with a full set of appliances for self-catering, and the dining space overlooking the water. Essentials like wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; there's also a washing machine for longer stays. Two cars can park on site. No smoking is permitted, and one pet is welcome.
The village is walkable and the Strachur Sub Post Office is nearby for supplies. The cottage suits families wanting a self-contained break, or pairs looking for somewhere quiet with a view.
