Dunoon anchors the Cowal Peninsula, a landscape of forest, water and hill that draws walkers and cyclists year-round. Cluniter Cottage sits within generous grounds on the peninsula's quieter side, where you can step straight into woodland trails or down to the coast. A river runs through the property, and from here you can walk or cycle along the shoreline towards Loch Striven, or climb through the forest for views across to Arran, Bute and the islands beyond.
The cottage is detached, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms across two floors. Upstairs holds a living room with smart TV and a double bedroom with ensuite bath and shower. Downstairs has a second double and single bed, a shower room, dining room, and a kitchen with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine opening onto a sun room. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included. There is private parking for two cars on site, and a garden with seating area. The property is no-smoking.
Innellan village, within walking distance, has a shop and two pubs. Dunoon itself—a short drive—offers a leisure centre, cinema, restaurants, and a seafront promenade. The Cowal Way, Kilmun Arboretum and Loch Eck are nearby for longer expeditions, while Kilbride Bay's sandy beach is a straightforward day trip.
