Argyll and Bute's Isle of Bute draws visitors for its coastal walks, wildlife spotting and quieter pace of island life. Kerrytonlia Cottage stands about a mile from Kingarth village and eight miles from Rothesay town centre, positioned to reach both the bustle and the peace depending on what you want from your break. The cottage itself has been substantially renovated with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and space for up to eight guests across two floors.

Ground floor accommodation includes two kingsize bedrooms—one with an ensuite—and a double, alongside a fully equipped kitchen-diner, two separate living spaces and a family bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs, a twin bedroom with its own shower ensuite completes the sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is properly fitted for self-catering, and essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. A lawned garden with furniture and parking for two cars come with the property. The cottage is non-smoking.

Rothesay itself has a promenade, public gardens, the Isle of Bute Discovery Centre, castle, museum and the full range of shops and restaurants you'd need. The West Island Way and other established walks cross the island, and there are golf courses nearby if that appeals. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
