Kilmichael Glen sits within reach of significant archaeological remains—Neolithic monuments, Bronze Age sites, standing stones and ruined forts dot the surrounding landscape. The River Add runs close by, and forest trails through the area suit walkers and mountain bikers. Lochgilphead is roughly 6 miles away. The Crinan Canal towpath offers another route for exploring on foot or by bike.
Kirnan Cottage is a detached country property with three bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping six. Downstairs there is a living room with Freesat and DVD player, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals—electric cooker, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, plus a pantry. A shower room and king-size bedroom complete the ground floor. Upstairs, a double bedroom and a twin room provide further accommodation. The cottage has its own enclosed garden with sitting-out space, barbecue and bike store. Wifi, bed linen, towels and electricity are included. No smoking.
The water comes from a spring on the property, filtered and tested annually. Six guests can book together, whether as a family or a group of friends. The cottage suits a base for exploring Argyll's coastline and the Kintyre Peninsula.
