About Go Native Ardfern
Perched on five acres of wild Argyll woodland with views sweeping across Loch Craignish, Go Native Ardfern offers a single, beautifully crafted Mongolian yurt - hand-painted in Ulan Bator and shipped over to this coastal spot. Inside you'll find a double and two singles around a central wood-burning stove, plus a small kitchenette stocked with essentials. The deck outside comes with a bench, barbecue and those loch-and-village views that make it hard to go indoors.
Ardfern village sits a ten-minute walk downhill, bringing a pub, café, shop and sailing centre within easy reach. The surrounding area is a playground for walkers, cyclists and watersports fans, with boat trips departing from the village for wildlife spotting out on the water. Shared facilities (toilets and shower) are a short stroll from the yurt, and while the site feels refreshingly remote, it's only 25 minutes from Lochgilphead when you need to stock up.

We slept here for three nights. Friendly owners. There is no electricity in the tent, and there is no power outlet in the shower room either. The shower room is nice and spacious and clean. It is a bit of a walk to the toilet, though. The view from the yurt is beautiful. A well-equipped kitchen, but it really is camping.
