The Cowal Peninsula sits within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, where Loch Long stretches toward the Firth of Clyde and the Argyll hills rise to the west. Larch Cottage occupies a hillside position with direct views across the water. The property forms part of a small cluster of holiday lets, each with their own grounds and parking.
Three bedrooms sleep six: a double downstairs, a first-floor double with an additional single bed, and another single bedroom. Downstairs you'll find an open-plan living and dining space with a wood burner, a shower room, and patio doors opening onto a decked area with garden furniture and unobstructed views. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; initial fuel for the wood burner is supplied, with further sacks available. One dog is welcome on a lead.
The Argyll Forest adjoins the property, offering marked walks and forest tracks from your door. Benmore Botanic Gardens lies nearby, and Dunoon with its shops, restaurants and pubs is within reach. The on-site facilities include a pool table, and guests receive discounted rates for activities such as quad biking, clay shooting and archery at a neighbouring outdoor centre. Parking for two cars is provided on site.
