Rowan Cottage

Rowan Cottage is a detached three-bedroom property on a hillside within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, overlooking Loch Long. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double on the ground floor, a double and single on the first floor, and a single also upstairs. One bathroom serves the property, with an additional toilet downstairs. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and initial fuel for the wood burner are all included, along with parking for one car on site.

The ground floor centres on an open-plan living and dining space with a wood burner, freeview TV and DVD player. Glass doors open onto a decked area with garden furniture and views across the loch towards the Argyll hills. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and wine cooler. A shared utility room in the grounds has a washing machine and tumble dryer. One dog is welcome, and children's equipment such as a cot and highchair are available on request.

The property is part of a small group of cottages sharing use of on-site facilities including a pool table. Guests receive a 15% reduction on activities run by the local operator—quad biking, clay shooting and archery among them. The Argyll Forest, with its forest tracks, marked walks and cycleways, is immediately accessible. The woodland gardens at Benmore Botanic Gardens and the town of Dunoon are both within reach. No smoking throughout the property.
