Sanna

Sanna began life as the village hall in the late 1800s. This detached stone building, now thoroughly modernised, stands on the shore of Loch Long near Dunoon, within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The single bedroom contains a double bed with an ensuite shower and toilet. Everything else is gathered into one open-plan space: a living area with TV and Freesat, a dining section, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer are all there. Wooden floors run throughout. Heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.

The cottage sits on its own enclosed garden with furniture and parking for one car. You're 200 yards from the waterfront, where you can walk the shore, fish, launch a canoe or simply sit and look across the loch. The Ardentinny Hotel restaurant is 50 yards away; the nearest shop is five miles off. Access to forest tracks, marked walks and cycleways through Argyll Forest is immediate. One well-behaved dog can stay free; smoking is not permitted inside.
