Stronafian House

Stronafian House is a substantial country property in Colintraive, with everything needed for a group of eight. Four bedrooms—two with king beds, one with a double, one with twin singles—come with four en-suite bathrooms, each fitted with walk-in showers and heated towel rails. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included. A travel cot, highchair and stairgates are available on request.

The heart of the house is an expansive open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with a woodburner. The kitchen has an electric range, dishwasher and coffee machine. A conservatory wraps around the front, with seating, another woodburner and formal dining; it overlooks the natural garden. A games room contains a pool table and table football; a utility room has a separate freezer and washing machine. The enclosed garden has furniture and sitting areas, with parking for four cars. No smoking throughout.

The setting is genuinely secluded, on estate grounds where roe and red deer are regularly spotted and otters seen on the water. The Stone House lies nearby. The property suits families and larger groups seeking space to spread out, with toys and a DVD library for quieter evenings—there is no TV service. An unfenced boggy pond sits 15 yards from the house, worth noting if children will be playing outside.
