Families and groups of six will find Shelduck Cottage works well as a self-contained base. The house spreads across two floors with three bedrooms—two singles downstairs (one convertible to a double) and a double upstairs—each with its own shower room or bathroom. Downstairs there's a living room with a wood burner, a sun room opening onto decking, and a kitchen fitted for proper cooking. The ground floor also has a utility room and a walk-in shower room, with level access via ramp from an outside door. Linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are provided.
The location matters here: twenty yards away is Loch Riddon, a sea loch on the Cowal Peninsula near Colintraive. The decked area catches views across the water, making it decent for a morning coffee or evening drink. This suits people drawn to walking and the outdoors—the area has genuine appeal for that. One dog can stay at no extra cost. You have private parking for two cars, and the whole property is yours alone. No smoking inside.
